I make games and it's probably one of the hardest shit to do consistently. I have a fair share of pretty good games that people enjoy but of course I've made terrible shit that nobody cared for. In retrospect, I should've posted my games when I was more experienced cause I received lots of stupid and idiotic manchild reviews here. That's why I did that tag about Newgrounds reviewers worst nightmare, because there are so much condescending and egotistical bitches here who can't give proper advice without sounding like a jackass
For artwork, animations, and music it's much more easier to digest! You watch, hear, or see it then that's done whoop de woo!! But for games it's much more than that, because you actually have to press more buttons than clicking play. If you don't make a masterpiece that makes everyone cream both sides of their pants then of course you'll receive some reviews that serve no help but to push others down. Imagine working for months and these losers just post a review that took 51 seconds of them sitting on their fat greasy asses glued to their gaming chair. I might as well just add a sexy bunny girl so they can jack off and distract them from reviewing.
In the end, these are just pathetic nobodies! Have you seen their profiles? Not even a color banner change or a different profile picture in sight, other than that stupid tankman default pic. They contribute what to this site? A half-assed stupid review? If they delete their account, nothing of value would be lost. Sure you don't have to participate in everything but at least don't be a fucking dickweed! As for me, I have friends and enjoy making lots art and games, and that's better than being a stupid keyboard warrior.
There's too much negativity going around, and unfortunately I keep on getting hit in the face with it. Don't let those fuckers bring you or other people down and make sure to let them know when to shut the fuck up.
Keep on loving yourself, and don't be a horse shit.
Bleak-Creep
Yeah, you can't let people get to you. You've just gotta make things for you, and then sweep the useless comments under the rug because otherwise you're just making things for the approval of others, and there's just nothing fulfilling about that.
Honestly, if I get a scathing review from someone who made an account on that very day, solely just to spew vitriol at me, I know I've really struck a chord. That's a win in my book.
